In November 1957,Chairman of the CPC Central Committee and President of the PRC Mao Zedong went to the Soviet Union to attend the 40th Anniversary Celebrations of the October Revolution, the meeting of the representatives of the Communist and Workers' parties of socialist countries and the conference of the representatives of the communist and workers' parties from 64 countries, and signed the "Moscow Declaration" and "the Peace Declaration".
