Nepalese PM meets with IDCPC working group

KATHMANDU, April 25 -- While meeting with the visiting working group of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, Nepalese Prime Minster Koirala expressed the hope to further strengthen inter-party exchanges and people-to-people interactions between the two countries so as to further consolidate and promote the development of state-to-state relations.

During the meeting, Prime Minster Koirala briefed the working group headed by Director-General Ai Ping on the post-election situation in Nepal. He spoke highly of Nepal-China relations and expressed thanks for China's consistent support for the peace process in Nepal. He also affirmed his government's supports to the Beijing Olympic Games and wished it a great success.

Ai Ping extended congratulations on the success of the Constituent Assembly elections. He also thanked the Nepalese government and the Prime Minster himself for supporting China on the issue of Tibet.
