BEIJING, July 17 -- Vice-minister Yu Hongjun of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee met in Beijing on July 17th with Martin Murray, executive director of Irish think tank Asia Matters. 

Speaking positively of China-Ireland relations and China-Europe relations, Yu said that the CPC is ready to continue its exchanges with major political parties and think tanks of Ireland and Europe so as to further promote China’s relations with Ireland and with Europe.

Murray expressed his readiness to make full use of the advantage of Asia Matters with a view to strengthening friendly exchanges and practical cooperation between Ireland and China and between Europe and China in various fields.
