BEIJING, Sept. 18 -- Vice-Chairperson Yan Junqi of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress met in Beijing on September 18th with a delegation from the Mouvement Ennahdha of Tunisia headed by its party chairman Rached Ghannouchi.  

Yan said that over the past 50 years since China and Tunisia established diplomatic relations, bilateral relations have maintained healthy and stable development, with cooperation in various fields yielding satisfactory results. China hopes that Tunisia will find its development path suitable to its national conditions at an early date, and is willing to strengthen exchanges with Tunisian parliament, so as to constantly grow China-Tunisia relations.  

Ghannouchi said that Mouvement Ennahdha is willing to further grow relations between the two countries and their peoples through inter-party exchange, and promote exchanges between the legislatures of the two countries to benefit the two peoples.
