BEIJING, March 18 -- Vice-minister Chen Fengxiang of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee met here today with a study group of Spanish young politicians from the People’s Party of Spain (PP), Spanish Socialist Workers’ Party and the Spanish Communist Party. He had friendly exchanges with members of the delegation, among whom, Belen Hoyo, PP member to the Congress of Deputies of Spain and head of the delegation.

Chen said that the development of China-Spain relations calls for support from Spanish political parties. The Communist Party of China is willing to further cooperation with Spanish political parties so as to bring the state-to-state relationship to a new high.

Hoyo said that this visit has helped the delegation to know more about China including its politics, economy and culture, and he hopes to strengthen Spain-China cooperation.
