Song Tao Meets with Study Group of Young Politicians of Cambodian People's Party

Beijing, July 8th--Song Tao, Minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee met here today with a study group of young politicians of Cambodian People's Party (CPP) led by Hun Many, member of the CPP Central Committee, Head of the CPP Central Youth Group as well as Member of the Cambodian National Assembly. 
 
 
Song firstly welcomed the study group to China, and asked Hun Many to convey warm greetings and best wishes to leaders of Cambodian political parties and the country. He said that both countries have actively developed bilateral relations featuring mutual benefit and win-win results on the basis of mutual respect and equal treatment, laying a solid and deep foundation for bilateral relations.
 
 
Song said that this year marks the 95th anniversary of the founding of the CPC and the 65th anniversary of the founding of the CPP. It is hoped that the two parties can further conduct close high-level exchanges, deepen experience exchanges in state governance and administration and enhance understanding and friendship between cadres of both parties, especially between young politicians, so as to better contribute to construction of their own nations.

 


Hun Many thanked the invitation of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee and expressed profound condolences to the public who are suffering from flood disaster in southern China. He said that at present, the relationship between both countries and both parties is at the best period in history. The young generation is obliged to and confident of inheriting and carrying forward the friendly relations created by older generations of leaders of both countries.
