Beijing, April 12th--Shen Beili, Assistant-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee met here today at request with Zhdanova, Governor of the Zabaykalsky Krai in Russia.

Shen expressed that the China-Russia comprehensive strategic partnership of coordination is currently moving forward rapidly at a high level, and mechanism exchanges between the two ruling parties play important roles in enhancing bilateral political mutual trust, promoting practical cooperation at local levels and the development of bilateral relations. The Chinese side actively supports the two local governments to carry out exchanges and cooperation in economy, people-to-people and cultural engagement and other fields.

Zhdanova said the Zabaykalsky Krai attaches high importance to its cooperation with China, and is ready to work with the Chinese side to take full advantages of the sound opportunities brought by the docking between the Eurasian Economic Union and the "Belt and Road" construction, so as to further elevate bilateral cooperation at local levels.
