The 6th Meeting of China-Japan Ruling Parties Exchange Mechanism Convenes in Tokyo

Tokyo, August 7th--the 6th meeting of China-Japan ruling parties exchange mechanism convened here on the afternoon. The meeting was co-organized by the Communist Party of China (CPC), the Liberal Democratic Party and the New Komeito Party of Japan. Song Tao, Minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee led a CPC delegation for the meeting and delivered a keynote speech titled “Stay True to the Original Commitments of the Normalization of the Diplomatic Relationship and Promote China-Japan Relations for Forward-looking Development”. Toshihiro Nikai, Secretary-General of the Liberal Democratic Party of Japan (LDP), Fumio Kishida, Chairman of Policy Research Council of the LDP, Inoue Yoshihisa, Secretary-General of the New Komeito Party of Japan and others attended and addressed the meeting. All representatives held discussions centering on building political mutual trust and enhancing political guidance.
