Beijing, September 4th—Song Tao, Minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee met here today on the morning with a senior cadre study group of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) led by Nguyen Duc Loi, Member of the CPV Central Committee and General Director of the Vietnam News Agency.
Song expressed that General Secretary Xi Jinping held talks with visiting Nguyen Phu Trong, General Secretary of the CPV this January. President Tran Dai Quang of Vietnam visited China and attended the Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation this May. Leaders of both parties and both countries reached important consensus on the development of bilateral relations, showing determination of China and Vietnam to the international community in consolidating traditional friendship, enhancing political mutual trust, deepening practical cooperation and properly solving differences. Both sides should well implement the important consensus reached by leaders of the two parties and the two countries, strengthen communication on study between senior cadres of both parties, learn from each other’s experience on state governance and administration, which are conducive to improving respective ruling capacity, promoting the development of socialist causes of both countries and elevating the level of bilateral strategic cooperation, also meet the requirement for building China-Vietnam community of common destiny.
Endorsing Song’s positive evaluation on relations between both parties and both countries, Nguyen Duc Loi expressed that both sides need to properly control and well solve differences. He thanked the CPC’s considerate arrangement for the CPV senior study group and believed that the visit will achieve great harvest in enhancing party construction and other perspectives. He wishes a success of the 19th CPC National Congress.
