Song Tao Meets with Sudanese NCP Cadre Study Group

Beijing, September 27th—Song Tao, Minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with the cadre study group of the National Congress Party (NCP) of Sudan led by Kamal-Eddin Ismail Saeed, Minister for Foreign Affairs.

Song said that President Xi Jinping and President Omar al-Bashir jointly announced to establish China-Sudan strategic partnership in 2015, which led relations between both countries to a new development period. China is willing to work with Sudan to well implement the important consensus reached by both leaders. As both ruling parties, the CPC is ready to further enhance friendly exchanges in various fields with the NCP and jointly well give play to political leading roles in China-Sudan relations, in a bid to push China-Sudan relations for sustained, healthy and stable development.

Kamal expressed that the NCP will continuously devote itself to well implementing the important consensus reached by both leaders through cementing party-to-party exchanges, thanks for China’s long-term and precious support to Sudan, and sincerely wishes the 19th CPC National Congress a complete success.

Song also introduced historical outcomes achieved since the 18th CPC National Congress under the strong leadership of the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core, and thanked NCP’s good wishes for the 19th CPC National Congress.
