Highlights of foreign congratulatory messages on 19th CPC National Congress (21)

BEIJING, Oct. 25 (Xinhua) -- The 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) received good wishes from foreign leaders, political parties and organizations around the world before it concluded on Tuesday.

The messages speak highly of the CPC's leadership as well as China's socio-economic development and global contributions, and express full confidence that the CPC will lead China to even greater prosperity.

The following is an edited summary of some of the messages.

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, chairman of the Palestine Liberation Organization Executive Committee:

The 19th CPC National Congress shows the Chinese people's resolve to achieve national rejuvenation and make China one of the world's leading countries, a move to benefit the whole humankind as well.

Surinamese President Desi Bouterse, chairman of the National Democratic Party, and Ramon Abrahams, deputy chairman of the National Democratic Party:

"With great respect and admiration we have been following the sustainable policy guidelines of the Communist Party of China in re-structuring the Chinese society. We are really impressed by the future perspectives, which the party is preparing for the coming decades."
