Highlights of foreign congratulatory messages on 19th CPC National Congress (22)

BEIJING, Oct. 25 (Xinhua) -- The 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) received good wishes from foreign leaders, political parties and organizations around the world before it concluded on Tuesday.

The messages speak highly of the CPC's leadership as well as China's socio-economic development and global contributions, and express full confidence that the CPC will lead China to even greater prosperity.

The following is an edited summary of some of the messages.

Franklin Khan, chairman of the People's National Movement of Trinidad and Tobago:

"On the international stage, China continues to be the voice of global cooperation and constructive engagement to benefit all people in every nation." China's willingness "to engage the planet in the spirit of win-win cooperation is clearly indicated, postulated and manifested in the world-changing Belt and Road Initiative."

Bradley B. Roberts, chairman of the Progressive Liberal Party of the Bahamas:

"Your Party is meeting at an important time in world affairs, when we are at one of those crossroads in history. I am sure ... it will also help other countries to chart their course."

Djamel Ould Abbes, general secretary of Algeria's National Liberation Front party:

Jemma Nunu Kumba, acting secretary general of Sudan People's Liberation Movement of South Sudan:
