Xu Lyuping Meets with MSM Leader and Prime Minister of Mauritius

On the morning of November 20th, Xu Lyuping, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met at the Prime Minister's Office with Pravind Jugnauth, Leader of Militant Socialist Movement (MSM) and Prime Minister of Mauritius.

Xu introduced the spirits of the 19th CPC National Congress and expressed that China will uphold the policy of correct value of friendship, justice and shared interests and the principle of sincerity, real results, affinity and good faith to further strengthen exchanges and cooperation between the two parties so as to elevate the friendly cause of the two countries to new highs and make greater contributions to the building of the China-Africa community of shared future.

Pravind congratulated on the successful opening of the 19th CPC National Congress and General Secretary Xi Jinping’s re-election. He expressed his hope to further strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation in various fields between the two parties and the two countries, making Mauritius the gateway and pivot of China-Africa cooperation under the frame of the “Belt and Road”.

Xu also met with Paul Raymond Bérenger, Leader of Mauritian Militant Movement, Navinchandra Ramgoolam, Leader of Mauritius Labour Party and Charles Gaetan Xavier-Luc Duval, leader of Mauritian Social Democratic Party during her stay in Mauritius.
