Wang Yajun Meets with MPP General Secretary

Beijing, December 3rd—Wang Yajun, Assistant-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee met here today with Dashzegve Amarbayasgalan, General Secretary of the Mongolian People's Party (MPP), who was in China for the CPC in Dialogue with World Political Parties High-Level Meeting.

Wang welcomed Amarbayasgalan to attend the meeting, and expressed that the CPC and the Chinese government attach high importance to China-Mongolia relations, and hope both sides to enhance communication and cooperation on the basis of respecting each other’s core interests and major concerns, in a bid to promote China-Mongolia comprehensive strategic partnership for continuous development.

Amarbayasgalan congratulated on the successful conclusion of the meeting, and said that General Secretary Xi Jinping’s keynote speech deeply encouraged and inspired the Mongolian side. The MPP pays high attention to its relations with China, and the new administration will abide by consensus reached by both sides, and make unremitting efforts to deepen Mongolia-China relations, especially practical cooperation between the two sides.
