Xu Lyuping Attends Closing Ceremony of 3rd China-Africa Political Parties Theoretic Seminar

Beijing, December 1st--the closing ceremony of the 3rd China-Africa Political Parties Theoretic Seminar was held here today. Xu Lyuping, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee attended and addressed the seminar.
Xu expressed that representatives from 19 political parties of China and Africa conducted heated discussions at the seminar centering on “Build a Community of Shared Future for Mankind of China and Africa: Political Parties’ Mission and Role”, fully demonstrating the spirit of mutual respect and sincere communication. The seminar reached purposes of communicating ideas, enhancing understanding and building consensus, achieving fruitful results. The CPC is willing to work with African friends to continuously open up new situation of China-Africa political parties’ communication and promote relations between China and Africa for a new leap.
Representatives from the African side including Ibrahim Boubacar Keïta, President of the Rally for Mali, Ana Rita Sithole, Member of Political Commission of Mozambique Liberation Front Party, Oumar Youm, National Executive Secretary of the Alliance for the Republic and Chief of the Staff of Office of the President of Senegal and others delivered speeches respectively. They spoke highly of the seminar’s important role in promoting China-Africa political parties’ exchanges and the development of China-Africa relations, and hoped the seminar could be more institutionalized and further elevate its influence.
