Beijing, December 3rd—Song Tao, Minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee (IDCPC) met here today on the morning with Ulises Guilarte, Member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) and Secretary General of the Central Union of Cuban Workers (CTC), who was in China for the CPC in Dialogue with World Political Parties High-Level Meeting.

Song thanked the contribution made by Guilarte to the success of the Meeting, deeply interpreted the rich connotation and great significance of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s keynote speech, and stressed that the CPC is willing to work with the PCC together to make positive efforts to build a community with a shared future for mankind.

Guilarte warmly congratulated the complete success of the Meeting. He expressed that the Meeting is a creation of the exchange history for world political parties’, which builds a unique platform for all political parties to carry out exchanges and dialogues and jointly discuss major plan of human society development. The breadth, depth and heat of the dialogue exceed expectation. General Secretary Xi Jinping’s keynote speech is the climax and essences of the Meeting, letting us see the CPC’s determination to seek well-being for the Chinese people and contribute to world peace and development, and also enabling us to feel our responsibilities and missions. The PCC fully supports and actively responds to the initiative of General Secretary Xi Jinping, and is willing to contribute to the cause of human progress with the CPC.

Both sides spoke highly of relations between both parties and both countries, exchanged views on enhancing communication and cooperation between the two ruling parties in next stage, and reached broad consensus.
