CPC Delegation Visits Uruguay to Promote Spirit of the 19th CPC National Congress

From December 19th to 20th, Fan Ruiping, Alternate Member of the 19th CPC Central Committee, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Sichuan Provincial Committee and Secretary of the CPC Chengdu Municipal Committee led a CPC delegation to visit Uruguay to promote the spirit of the 19th CPC National Congress.

During the visit, Fan met respectively with Lucía Topolansky, Vice President, Chair of the General Assembly of Congress and Senator of Uruguay, Javier Miranda, President of the Broad Front, Luis Alberto Héber, President of the National Party, Ariel Bergamino, Deputy Foreign Minister and others, and introduced the spirit of the 19th CPC National Congress to leaders of political parties, government officials, members of parliament and others of Uruguay in an in-depth manner.

Uruguay spoke positively of the profound influence of the 19th CPC National Congress to the future development of China and the world, highly praised the idea of building a community with a shared future for mankind and the proposition of building a new type of international relations proposed by General Secretary Xi Jinping, and expressed the willingness to further cement experience communication on state governance and administration with the CPC, and actively participate in the “Belt and Road” construction, so as to continuously promote China-Uruguay strategic partnership for in-depth development and benefit the two peoples.
