From December 27th to 30th, at the invitation of Justice and Development Party of Turkey (AK Parti), Hu Changsheng, Alternate Member of the CPC Central Committee, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Fujian Provincial Committee and Director General of the Organization Department of the CPC Fujian Provincial Committee, led a CPC delegation to Turkey to promote the spirit of the 19th CPC National Congress.
Hu met respectively with Ahmet Aydin, Deputy Speak of Grand National Assembly of Turkey, Ravza Kavakci Kan, AK Parti Deputy Chairwoman, Mehmet Mehdi Eker, AK Parti Deputy Chairman, Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, President of the Republican People’s Party, and Doğu Perinçek, Chairman of the Patriotic Party of Turkey. Hu also held a special briefing session to promote the spirit of the 19th CPC National Congress to heavyweights of political parties and representatives from various circles of Turkey. During the briefing session, Hu comprehensively expounded on Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, and mainly publicized and introduced the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s keynote speech at the CPC in Dialogue with World Political Parties High-Level Meeting.
Speaking positively of the great significance of the 19th CPC National Congress, the Turkish side highly praised Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and the idea of building a community with a shared future for mankind, and expressed the willingness to further intensify exchanges and mutual learning with the CPC, so as to push forward the in-depth development of Turkey-China relations and the “Belt and Road” cooperation.
