Beijing, March 16th—Li Jun, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee (IDCPC) met here today with Ali Asghar Khaji, Iranian Ambassador to China.

Speaking positively of relations between China and Iran, Li expressed that the CPC and the IDCPC are willing to further enhance communication and cooperation with political parties and political organizations in Iran, so as to promote China-Iran comprehensive strategic partnership for greater development.

Khaji expressed the willingness to continuously pay attention to and promote Iran-China party-to-party exchanges and communication and cooperation in various fields, in a bid to boost the development of relations between both countries.
