Beijing, May 3rd—Wang Chen, Member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Vice Chairman of the NPC Standing Committee met here today with a cadre study group of the National Congress Party (NCP) of Sudan led by Hamid Al-Noor Ahmed Mumtaz, Member of the NCP Leadership Office and Minister of Federal Governance.
Wang expressed that President Xi Jinping and President Omar al-Bashir jointly announced the establishment of China-Sudan strategic partnership, which guided the relations between the two countries to a new development stage. The relations between the two parties play an important role in promoting the development of China-Sudan relations. It is hoped that both sides will maintain high-level party-to-party exchanges, strengthen experience communication on party governance and state administration, and promote practical cooperation.
Hamid expressed that he expects to learn the CPC’s experience and practice in leading reform and opening up as well as realizing regional coordinated development through this visit.
