Beijing, May 14th—Wang Chen, Member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress met here today with a delegation of Palestinian Fatah led by Abbas Zaki, Member of the Fatah Central Committee and Commissioner for Relations with Arab Countries and China.
Wang said that President Xi Jinping met with President Mahmoud Abbas twice, reaching important consensus and charting the course for the development of relations between both countries. This year marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Palestine. China firmly supports the just cause of Palestine. The CPC is willing to, together with Fatah, consolidate traditional friendship and enhance experience communication, so as to promote relations between the two parties and the two countries for comprehensive development.
Zaki said that Fatah attaches importance to developing friendly exchanges with the CPC, and is willing to learn from China’s experience on party governance and state administration.
