Beijing, May 23rd--Li Jun, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with the delegation of a cadre study group of the Islamic Motalefeh Party (IMP) of Iran, which was headed by Deputy Secretary for International Affairs Mahdi Soli.

Li introduced Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and the achievements and experience from China’s reform and opening up over the past 40 years. Li expressed that the CPC is willing to constantly deepen exchanges with the IMP and promote China-Iran cooperation in various fields.

Soli spoke highly of the CPC’s governance philosophy and China’s achievements from reform and opening up. Soli expressed that cherishing its friendly relations with the CPC, the IMP stands ready to further understand and learn from the CPC’s experience in party governance and state administration, and promote Iran-China comprehensive strategic partnership for steady development.
