Beijing, May 30th—Qian Hongshan, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee met here today on the afternoon with Doris Bures, Second President of the National Council of Austria.

Qian expressed that as China-Austria friendly strategic partnership was established this year, the CPC is willing to, together with various political parties of Austria, make new contributions to enhancing mutual understanding and political mutual trust between the two countries from the new historic position of relations between the two countries.

Bures expressed that Austria attaches great importance to developing the friendship between Austria and China, and is willing to further promote Austria-China and EU-China relations and practical cooperation.
