Beijing, June 15th—Qian Hongshan, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today on the morning with Apostolos Tzitzikostas, Member of the Political Bureau of the New Democracy and Governor of Central Macedonia of Greece.

Speaking positively of the relations between both parties and both countries, Qian expressed that the CPC is willing to make joint efforts with the New Democracy to promote the China-Greece comprehensive strategic partnership for constant and greater development.

Tzitzikostas expressed that Greece highly appreciates and stands ready to actively participate in the Belt and Road construction, and continue to be China’s good friend and good partner. The New Democracy hopes to further strengthen exchanges and cooperation with the CPC, so as to consolidate and deepen Greece-China relations.
