Song Tao Meets with CPV Senior Cadre Study Group

Beijing, July 10th—Song Tao, Minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today on the morning with a senior cadre study group of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) led by Le Dinh Son, Member of the CPV Central Committee, Secretary of the Hà Tĩnh Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Hà Tĩnh People's Council.

Both sides spoke positively of the relations between the two parties and both countries.

Song Tao introduced the current party building situation of the CPC and the measures to deepen reform and expand opening up. He emphasized that China and Vietnam are a community of shared future with strategic significance. The China-Vietnam relations play an important political leading role in China-Vietnam relations and in the building of a China-Vietnam community of shared future. China is willing to cooperate with Vietnam to comprehensively implement the important consensus reached by General Secretary Xi Jinping and General Secretary Nguyễn Phú Trọng on developing China-Vietnam relations, continuously strengthen strategic communication, enhance political mutual trust, deepen pragmatic cooperation, enrich people-to-people exchanges, and promote the sustained, healthy and stable development of China-Vietnam comprehensive strategic partnership, so as to bring greater benefits to the two peoples.

Le Dinh Son expressed that the study group had an in-depth understanding of the CPC’s successful experience and practice in strengthening the mass line education, promoting innovation in social governance, expanding opening up, and adhering to a strategy featuring peaceful development and win-win cooperation. The delegation admires these achievements and is deeply inspired. It is hoped that the two parties will continue to deepen exchange of experience in party governance and state governance, which is not only conducive to respective socialist construction, but also will certainly promote new and greater development of Vietnam-China relations.
