Song Tao Holds Talks with Secretary Generals of the Six Sister Parties of Southern Africa

Dar-es-Salaam, July 16th--Song Tao, Minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, held working talks with secretary generals of the six sister parties of Southern Africa, who were here for the groundbreaking ceremony of the Mwalimu Julius Nyerere Leadership School.

Song conveyed General Secretary Xi Jinping’s greetings to the top leaders of the six parties, and spoke positively of the relations between China and the six countries and the six parties as well as China-Africa relations. Song promoted Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and exchanged views on the relevant issues regarding the building of the Mwalimu Julius Nyerere Leadership School with his counterpart. Song stressed that the CPC and the six parties are a community of shared destiny. The CPC is willing to deepen exchanges and cooperation with the six parties from a strategic height and long-term perspective, so as to further give play to the political leading role of the party-to-party relations.

Secretary generals of the six parties thanked the CPC for its long-term and strong support in cadre training as well as exchanges of experience in state governance and administration. They unanimously expressed that the CPC is the best cooperation partner in the world, and the cooperation with the CPC is of great benefit to improving their own capacity. They are willing to further enhance exchanges with the CPC to improve the governance capacity and reinforce the political leading role in national relations through cooperation among political parties.
