Putrajaya, July 29th--Mahathir Mohamad, Chairman of Pakatan Harapan and Prime Minister of Malaysia, met here today with Guo Yezhou, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee.

Mahathir expressed that Malaysia will continue to regard China as a good friend and a good partner, and is willing to deepen traditional friendship, strengthen exchanges between the two ruling parties, and expand practical cooperation in various fields. Mahathir looks forward to paying an official visit to China.

Guo expressed that attaching high importance to developing China-Malaysia relations, the Chinese side will constantly carry forward the traditional friendship between the two countries, and intensify exchanges between political parties, so as to promote China-Malaysia relations for sound and stable development.
