Beijing, August 31st--Xu Lyuping, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with Mpho Balopi, Secretary General of the Botswana Democratic Party (BDP).

Speaking positively of the relations between the two parties and the two countries, Xu expressed that the CPC is willing to strengthen exchanges and mutual learning with the BDP, so as to guide China-Botswana relations towards better development.

Balopi expressed that the BDP hopes to learn from the CPC’s experience in state governance and administration, in a bid to promote the development of relations between the two countries, and build Botswana-China relations into a model of Africa-China relations.
