Li Jun Meets with President of PNP of Jamaica

On the afternoon of October 15th, Li Jun, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met with Peter Philips, President of People’s National Party (PNP) of Jamaica.

Li spoke positively of the contributions made by the PNP to the development of China-Jamaica relations in the long term, and expressed that the CPC stands ready to enhance exchanges and cooperation with the PNP, and promote the steady development of relations between the two countries.

Philips noted that the PNP spoke highly of the great development achievements made by China since its reform and opening up over the past four decades, and is willing to learn from the CPC’s experience on state governance and administration. It is hoped that China will play a greater leading role in international affairs.
