Song Tao Meets with CPV Senior Cadre Study Group

Beijing, April 18th—Song Tao, Minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with a senior cadre study group delegation of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) led by Trần Quốc Tỏ, member of Central Committee of the CPV and Secretary of the Tỉnh Thái Nguyên Provincial Party Committee.

Song expressed that under the guidance of General Secretary Xi Jinping and General Secretary Nguyễn Phú Trọng, China-Vietnam relations have constantly developed with good momentum. Fruitful achievements have been achieved in practical cooperation in various fields. The Chinese side is willing to work with the Vietnamese side to jointly well implement the consensus reached by the leaders of the two Parties and the two countries, constantly enhance strategic communication and deepen exchanges in state governance and administration, so as to push China-Vietnam comprehensive strategic cooperation partnership for constant and stable development and bring more benefits to the two peoples.

Trần said that the Vietnamese side spoke highly of the relations between the two countries and the two countries and admired China’s huge achievements made in the four decades of reform and opening up. The CPV remains committed to strengthening exchanges and mutual learning with the CPC, jointly pushing Vietnam-China relations and pushing the building of socialism in each country for new and greater development. Trần wished the forthcoming second Belt and Road Forum for International cooperation a complete success.

Wang Yajun, Assistant-minster of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee and Chen Yan, Deputy Provost of the Party School of the CPC Central Committee attended the meeting.
