Guo Yezhou Meets with Delegation Headed by Deputy Head of the National Assembly of France

Beijing, July 29th—Guo Yezhou, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with a delegation headed by Carole Bureau-Bonnard, Deputy Head of the French National Assembly.

Guo said that currently, China-France relations have maintained a sound momentum of development with frequent high-level exchanges, in-depth development of pragmatic cooperation and close communication and coordination in international affairs. The CPC attaches great importance to developing friendly and cooperative relations with major French political parties and hopes that the two sides will further strengthen exchanges and dialogue and push for the sustained and healthy development of China-France relations.

Bureau-Bonnard made positive comments on France-China relations, saying that the delegation members come from various major French political parties and they hope to further enhance their understanding of China through this visit. The delegation is willing to play a positive role in promoting exchanges between political parties of the two countries and enhancing exchanges between politicians of the two sides and constantly consolidate the political foundation of France-China friendship.
