Gu Xiulian meets Antigua, Barbuda's delegation

  BEIJING, Aug. 27 -- Gu Xiulian, vice chairwoman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of China, the country's top legislature, on Monday met with a delegation from the United Progressive Party of Antigua and Barbuda.

  The delegation was led by party leader Leon Chaku Symister.

  Gu said the Communist Party of China would like to step up cooperation with the United Progressive Party.

  Gu and Symister also discussed bilateral ties and other issues of common concern.
