Dakar, Sept. 11--President of the National Assembly of Senegal Macky Sall
met on 10th at the National Assembly of Senegal with the visiting CPC good-will
delegation headed by Vice Minister Li Jinjun of the International Department of
the CPC Central Committee.
Sall said the National Assembly is going to set up the Senegal-China
Friendship Group. He hoped to step up exchanges with the National People's
Congress of China, upgrade the level of cooperation and promote bilateral
relations in all aspects.
Li Jinjun said the China-Senegal Friendship Group is already established
in the NPC of China to promote exchanges between the two parliaments. He said
the CPC is all out supportive to such exchanges. The parliaments will explore
ways and exchange views on how to further bilateral exchanges.
Deputy Secretary-General of the Senegalese Democratic Party (PDS) Lamine
Ba, leader of the parliamentary group of the PDS Doudou Wade and Chinese
ambassador to Senegal Lu Shaye were present at the meeting.
The CPC good-will delegation arrived in Dakar on September 7th and
started its visit in Senegal at the invitation of the PDS. It left the capital
city on 11th to continue its visit in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
