Wang Jiarui meets with MCA delegation

  BEIJING, Sept. 13 -- Minister Wang Jiarui of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee met today with the delegation of the Malaysian Chinese Association (MCA) headed by its president and Minister of Housing and Local Government Dato`Seri Ong Ka Ting.

  Both sides spoke highly of the China-Malaysia relations. Wang expressed congratulations to the Malaysian guests for their country's remarkable development in the past 50 years since its establishment, and appreciation for the growing strength of MCA and important contribution it has made to the development of Malaysia since the party was founded 58 years ago. Wang stressed that under new circumstances, the CPC would like to step up cooperation with MCA to inject new vitalities to the China-Malaysia friendship.

  Dato`Seri Ong Ka Ting said that the MCA is glad to see China's world-recognized development achieved under the leadership of the CPC, and admires the dedicated efforts of the CPC to improve the party itself and maintain its advanced nature. The MCA hopes to increase exchanges of experience with the CPC on theoretical innovation and exploration in practice concerning party-building. Dato`Seri Ong Ka Ting also reaffirmed Malaysia's commitment to the one China policy.
