Wang Jiarui meets Fatah delegation

BEIJING, Nov. 22 -- Minister Wang Jiarui of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee met here today with a delegation of the Palestinian National Liberation Movement (Fatah) led by Abdallah Alafranji, member of Fatah Central Committee and head of the organization¡¯s International Department.

The two sides spoke positively of China-Palestinian relations. Wang briefed the guests on the CPC¡¯s 17th National Congress upon request, focusing on the elaboration of the Scientific Outlook on Development and the building of a harmonious socialist society. He said that the CPC is willing to further exchanges with Fatah and increase experience sharing on how to run the country and the government.

On his part, Abdallah Alafranji spoke highly of the advanced governing philosophies set by the CPC¡¯s 17th National Congress. He shared with Wang the latest situation of Palestine and that of the Middle East, and expressed appreciation on the positive efforts made by China for the peaceful settlement of Middle East issues. Wang reiterated China¡¯s principle position on these issues.
