Wang Gang meets former Mongolian president

BEIJING, Dec. 17 -- Senior leader of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Wang Gang met here Monday with Nachagyn Bagabandy, former Mongolian president.

Wang, who is a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, hailed the relations between China and Mongolia, saying the bilateral relations have great potentials and a broad prospect.

The CPC and Mongolian People's Revolutionary Party (MPRP) have conducted in-depth exchanges and cooperation in recent years, which played an important role to push forward the all-round development of bilateral ties, said Wang.

He said the CPC would like to make joint efforts with all political parties in Mongolia, and boost the good-neighborly partnership of mutual trust to a new height.

Wang also briefed Bagabandy the 17th CPC National Congress.
