Album on Deng Xiaoping's life published   

  BEIJING, July 30 (Xinhua) -- An album on the life of Deng Xiaoping (1904-1997) has been jointly published by Xinhua, the official news agency, and the Central Document and Files Publishing House, to mark the 100th anniversary of the birth of the late Chinese leader.

  The album includes over 300 photos that have been selected from over 10,000 candidates. Many of these photos are provided by Deng's family and have been made public for the first time.

  In addition to the photos, there is also a chronicle, comprising major events and activities in Deng's life. 

  The album has both Chinese and English versions.
