BEIJING, Sept. 4 (Xinhua) -- Wang Zhaoguo, a member of the Political Bureau of the Chinese Communist Party (CPC) Central Committee, met here Saturday with delegates of the New Zealand Labor Party and National Party of New Zealand.

  Wang, also a vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, China's top legislature, made positive comments on the important contributions the two parties have made to the friendly cooperation between China and New Zealand.

  He said China pays great attention to its ties with New Zealand and is willing to cooperate with New Zealand to advance bilateral relations.

  Wang also exchanged views on other issues of common concern with the New Zealand guests, who are here attending the Third International Conference of Asian Political Parties.
