Since the establishment, Citizens Will Republican Party has initiated the merger process of democratic parties with purpose to consolidate currently fragmented and weakened democratic forces, and during its short history the party was able to merge three other pro-democratic parties, namely, Republican Party, Pro-Mongolian Party and Party for Rural Development. And at the moment CW-RP represents merger of 4 political parties established during the last decade in Mongolia.

The Party¡¯s mission:

CWP stands for introduction of principles of good governance and improvement of current modus operandi of the Government with purpose to establish a strong and professional Government committed to promoting further radical reforms and ensure sustainable growth of economy. CWP stands for development and promotion of national industry through increasing their competitiveness and rational use of existing resources and advantages of the country.

CWP stands for promotion and strengthening of democratic institutions in order to create a civil society based on democratic values and social justice. One of the missions of the party is to fight corruption and reduce bureaucracy burden constraining development of the country.

CWP¡¯s goal is to become a third alternative political force with clean reputation committed to develop the country. CWP realizes that the party¡¯s goals won¡¯t be implemented, unless it won¡¯t be able to consolidate the democratic forces in Mongolian. For this reason, CWP also aims to stop the political flight between Mongolian democratic parties and to achieve political consensus in order to encourage major political parties that is imperatively necessary today.

In 2004 CWP successfully participated in Parliamentary election held in the end of June. CWP joined coalition of democratic forces consisted of three major democratic parties. In result of the election the coalition won at least 36 seats at the Parliament.

CWP looks forward to growing into major political party of Mongolia in the next decade and to continuing its role in reforming the country¡¯s political and social life.
