Zhou Li meets Czech guest

BEIJING, April 4  -- Vice-minister Zhou Li of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee met with Jaroslav Tvrdik, advisor to Czech Prime Minister on China policy and chairman of Supervision Committee of Czech-China Chamber of Collaboration on April 4th.

Zhou Li said that the CPC takes its exchanges with the Czech Social Democratic Party very seriously and expects the inter-party exchanges play a positive role in deepening the cooperation in areas such as business, trade, tourism, energy and other areas between the two countries so as to further enhance bilateral relations.

Tvrdik said that the new Czech government, which puts Czech-China relations high on its agenda, looks forward to improved Czech-China relations as soon as possible.

He added that the Czech Social Democratic Party is fully aware of the unique role of party contacts and is ready to strengthen its exchanges with the CPC in different areas.
