Meng Jianzhu meets with Moldovan Democratic Party delegation

BEIJING, June 3 -- Meng Jianzhu, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and secretary of the Central Commission of Political and Legal Affairs of the CPC, met here today with a delegation of the Democratic Party of Moldova (PDM), led by its first deputy chairman Vladimir Plahotniuc.

Meng said that the relations between China and Moldova have seen steady development with political mutual trust and practical cooperation growing more in-depth. China thanks the Moldovan side for its consistent support on issues involving China’s core interests and major concerns, Meng said, adding that the CPC is ready to strengthen its exchanges and cooperation with the PDM.  

Plahotniuc said that the PDM admires China for its remarkable development achievements, sincerely regards the CPC as its cooperation partner and hopes to learn from the CPC’s successful experience.  

Secretary-General Wang Yongqing of the Central Commission of Political and Legal Affairs of the CPC and Vice-Minister Zhou Li of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee attended the meeting.
