Li Jun meets with BNP study group

BEIJING, Sept. 24 -- Assistant Minister Li Jun of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee met on the morning of September 24th with a study group of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) led by Dr. Abdul Moyeen Khan, member of the Standing Committee of the BNP Central Committee and former minister for Science and Information & Communication Technology of the Bangladesh Government.

Speaking positively of China-Bangladesh relations, Li told the guests that China’s economic restructuring through comprehensively deepening reforms and opening up and the vigorous regional cooperation provide a twin engine for the development of the friendly cooperation between China and Bangladesh. The BNP is an important political force in Bangladesh and the CPC hopes to further strengthen its exchanges and cooperation with the BNP to help promote further growth of bilateral relations, said Li.

Moyeen Khan expressed the willingness of the BNP to make continuous efforts in promoting friendly relations and cooperation between Bangladesh and China.
