CPC goodwill delegation visits UK

LONDON, Dec. 3 -- Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee and President of the Council of the China Center for Contemporary World Studies Guo Yezhou led a CPC goodwill delegation on a visit to UK from November 30th to December 2nd. During the visit, the delegation attended a dialogue held by the 48 Group Club and held thematic communication with the School of Contemporary Chinese Studies of the University of Nottingham, briefing them on the fourth plenum of the 18th CPC Central Committee. Guo met, respectively, with UK Foreign Minister Hugo Swire and Shadow Foreign Office Minister Kerry McCarthy of the Labour Party and exchanged views with them on China-UK relations. Guo also held talks with Center for European Reform (CER), International Institute for Strategic Studies, School of Oriental and African Studies of the University of London (SOAS), LSE IDEAS and China expert Martin.Jacques, and exchanged views with them on international situation and regional issues of common interest.
