Li Jun attends opening session of seventh "10+3" Media Cooperation Forum

BEIJING, Dec. 16 -- Assistant minister Li Jun of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee attended here the opening session of the seventh "10+3" Media Cooperation Forum, and made a keynote speech titled "Build Maritime Silk Road to Connect Dreams of Prosperity."

Li said that President Xi Jinping of China called for the joint building of the "Maritime Silk Road of the 21st Century," and outlined a beautiful vision of shared opportunities, concerted response to challenges, and common development and prosperity. China is willing to embrace diversity and openness in promoting cooperation on the Maritime Silk Road, build the Maritime Silk Road through increasing connectivity, and shape public opinion to support the building of the Maritime Silk Road, he said.

The seventh "10+3" Media Cooperation Seminar is hosted by People's Daily. The theme this year is "Maritime Silk Road Connecting Asia-Pacific Dream."
