Beijing, March 28th --- Song Tao, minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with a delegation of Mongolian People’s Party (MPP) headed by Miyeegombyn Enkhbold, chairman of the MPP and vice-chairman of the State Great Hural.

Song said that China attaches great importance to China-Mongolia relationship and regards Mongolia as a good neighbor, good brother and good partner. In recent years, high-level officials from both sides have been carrying out frequent reciprocal visits, playing an important role in guiding the development of China-Mongolia relations. We hope that the two sides will translate consensus reached by state leaders into reality and push forward concrete cooperation, especially on big projects, so as to promote development in both countries and benefit the two peoples. As two political parties with long histories, the Communist Party of China and the MPP enjoy sound cooperative ties. We stand ready to enhance party-to-party exchanges with the MPP, share experience on development, and promote cooperation in various aspects between the two countries, said Song.

Miyeegombyn Enkhbold said that China has an important place on Mongolia’s foreign policy agenda and various political parties in Mongolia are all friendly to China. Ideas such as common development and win-win progress proposed in China’s 13th five-year-plan have provided development opportunities for a large number of China’s neighboring countries including Mongolia. My visit this time also coincides with the 95th anniversary of the MPP, and I wish to take this opportunity to promote win-win cooperation between Mongolia and China, enhance traditional friendship between the MPP and the CPC, and contribute to pushing forward Mongolia-China ties, said Miyeegombyn Enkhbold.
