Song Tao Meets with MPS Secretary General

Beijing, Mar. 3rd--- Song Tao, Minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee met here today on the morning with Mahamat Zen Bada, Secretary General of Patriotic Salvation Movement (MPS) of Chad and his delegation.

Song said that Chad is a country with important influence in Africa. In recent years, bilateral relations and cooperation in various areas have enjoyed rapid development. As a long-term ruling party, the MPS shares extensive common topics with the CPC in state governance and administration. The Chinese side attaches importance to further developing China-Chad relations and the relationship between the two ruling parties, deepening and enriching bilateral exchanges and cooperation in various areas and at various levels. 

Appreciating the positive efforts made by Idriss Deby, President of Chad in boosting China-Africa relations during the rotating presidency of the African Union, Song testified that China will commit to the comprehensive development of China-Africa relations as always.

Bada asked Song to convey sincere greetings of Idriss Deby, founding President of MPS and President of Chad to Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee and President of China. He noted that the MPS regards the CPC as a brother and admires the CPC’s ruling capacity and achievements. It hopes to learn from the CPC’s experience. President Xi Jinping’s elaboration on the CPC’s development concepts and China-Africa cooperation notions at the Johannesburg Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation has taken a deep root in Chad and Africa. They harbor great expectation and confidence in the bright future of Africa-China relations.
