Beijing, March 26th—Wang Yajun, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with a delegation led by Koizumi Ryuji, Director-General of the International Bureau of the Liberal Democratic Party of Japan.

Wang made positive comments on Koizumi's contributions to promoting exchanges between the ruling parties of China and Japan, saying that China is ready to work with Japan to actively promote bilateral and practical cooperation within the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative, properly handle sensitive issues, constantly consolidate the momentum of improvement and development of China-Japan relations and jointly open up new prospects for China-Japan relations.

Koizumi said that Japan attaches great importance to Japan-China relations and the exchanges between the ruling parties and is willing to deepen bilateral exchanges with China, strengthen communication and coordination on multilateral affairs and push for the continuous improvement and development of Japan-China relations.
