Beijing, September 3rd--Wang Chen, Member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Vice Chairman of the NPC Standing Committee met here today with a study group of parliament members of Malaysia’s ruling coalition headed by Nga Kor Ming, Deputy Speaker of the Dewan Rakyat and Deputy Secretary-General of Democratic Action Party (DAP) of Malaysia.
Wang expressed that this year marks the 45th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between China and Malaysia. We are ready to strengthen exchanges and cooperation between the CPC and the ruling coalition of Malaysia and between the legislatures of the two countries, jointly implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries, enhance understanding and mutual trust, jointly build the Belt and Road Initiative and contribute to the healthy and steady development of China-Malaysia relations.
Nga said that he hopes to enhance exchanges and learn the CPC’s experience in party governance and state administration.
