At the invitation of the French Communist Party of France (PCF), Liu Qi, Secretary of the CPC Jiangxi Provincial Committee, attended the Fête de l'Humanité held by the PCF as a CPC representative from September 13th to 16th. He respectively met with leaders of the PCF such as Fabien Rousse, National Secretary of the PCF and leaders of ruling parties including Carole Bureau-Bonnard, Deputy Head of the French National Assembly. Liu actively introduced Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and exchanged views with the French side on inter-party exchanges and topics of common interests.
The French side spoke positively of the achievements the People’s Republic of China has made in the past 70 years since its founding and China’s important and constructive role in the international community. They expressed the willingness to strengthen exchanges with the CPC to promote China-France relations for in-depth development.
