Bangkok, September 18th—Song Tao, Minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with Sompong Amornvivat, Leader of the Pheu Thai Party and Leader of the Opposition Party of the House of Representatives of Thailand, and Sudarat Keyuraphan, Head of the Strategic Committee of the Pheu Thai Party.

Song said that China and Thailand are close and friendly neighbors and good neighbors and partners who trust each other and cooperate hand in hand. The development of China-Thailand relations has been supported by all parties of the Thai government and the Thai opposition.
